Jason A. Baalmann
Owner / Funeral Director / Embalmer / Crematory Operator
Jason Baalmann grew up in Oakley, KS, graduated from Oakley High School and then attended Kansas City Kansas Community College where he received a degree in mortuary science. After college he served his apprenticeship and worked as a funeral director and embalmer at Ryan Mortuary in Salina, KS. While there he met his wife Shane, a native of Grainfield, KS, and they were married. In 2010, they moved back to Western Kansas and opened Baalmann Mortuary. Jason and Shane have three children, Liam, Elan and Audra.
Michael D. Brungardt
Assistant Funeral Director / Crematory Operator
Mike was born to Ed and Ann Brungardt and raised in Oakley, KS. He is the youngest of 5 children. He graduated from Oakley High School in 1987. In 1996 Mike married Cecilia Goetz, in Grinnell. They have lived in Oakley most of their married years. In 2018 Mike joined the Baalmann Mortuary staff and became a licensed Assistant Funeral Director.
