Wilma Frances Gray, 91, of Oakley, died Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Logan County Hospital, Oakley. She was born November 15, 1925, in Logan County, to William and Frances (Finch) Selley. She graduated from Page City High School in 1942, got her teaching certificate, and taught in country schools. She also worked several years in sales at Oakley stores, including Traders Grocery store, JcPennys and True Value. Wilma married Harold Gray on June 9, 1943. Wilma enjoyed crocheting, crafts, quilting, sewing dolls, gardening and flowers. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold; parents; son Sonny Gray; daughter Loy Deane Huff; sister Darlene Depe and brother Lewis ‘”Bud” Selley.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra (Mark) Cram, San Antonio, TX; sister, Ramona Wieland, Colby, KS; brother Billy (Virginia) Selley, of Springfield, MO; grandchildren, Jason Gray, Jenna Gray, Tracey Staab-Huff, Jennifer Mascarenas and Chelsea Prochaska; Numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen. A Memorial Service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley with inurnment in the Oakley City Cemetery.
