Virginia Curry

Virginia Mae Curry, 68, of Levant, died Tuesday, May 19, 2020,at her home. She was born March 8, 1952, in Colby, KS, to Douglas and Nettie(Stickel) Griggs. Ginny graduated from Colby High School. On December 21, 1968,Ginny married Gary Curry. She was a farm wife and worked for Head Start for 10 years. One of her biggest joys in life was being a grandma. She loved to go to the lake with her grandkids and watch their sporting events.

Ginny was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gary Curry; daughter Kim Burk and sister Karen Donaldson.

She is survived by her children, Shawn (Mindy) Curry, of Colby and Shanda (Ryan) Cassaw, of Levant; son-in-law John Burk, of Haysville;siblings, John Griggs, of Atwood and Barbara (Kerry) Turner, of Colby;  seven grandchildren, Mackenzie Curry, Brooks Curry, Emma Curry, Cobin Curry, Elijah Rasmussen, Dominic Cassaw and Toby Cassaw and great grandchildren Riley and Kimberly Rasmussen.
