Tracy Lynn Ellegood, of Colby, was born January 13, 1967. He passed away November 5, 2023, at Citizens Medical Center, in Colby, at the age of 56.

Tracy attended Oakley and Monument Schools and went on to attend Cloud County Community College. There he met the love of his life, Tiffany Diane Peck. To this union three children, Brittany (Jeff) Sekavec, Max (Renee) Ellegood and Bailey (Koda) Ellegood.

Tracy worked in several fields but found his niche with Western Plains Energy 20 years ago. Tracy loved his work. He loved football, especially the Raiders, and had recently gotten to tour their entire stadium. Additionally, he had a knack for his savvy and non-traditional moves, winning many fantasy football championships, finding joy and friendship along the way. He also enjoyed playing cards with many friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Tiffany, brother Barry and father-in-law Merlin Peck.

Tracy is survived by his parents, Ben and Donnette (Nelson) Ellegood; three children; two brothers, Shane and Lance; mother-in-law Bonnie Ross and his biggest joy, his grandson Nik.

A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Gateway Fellowship in Oakley, KS.
