Theodore Domsch

Theodore “Ted” Charles Domsch, was born on a small farm Northwest of Atwood on July 14, 1939, to Theodor Charles Domsch & Anna Maria Dorthea Sophia Focke Domsch. Ted met Nyla Pennington where she was a Sophomore in high school. After graduating High School Ted went to business school and was drafted into the Army where he spent 2 years in Germany. Ted & Nyla were married on April 23 rd 1961 celebrating 56 years together. Ted traveled in sales and loved everyone he worked with. He was very well known in his community & surrounding areas and was loved by all. Ted died unexpectedly in Hays, KS on Tuesday, February 20 th 2018 with his wife at his side. He loved his family and friends with all his heart and would do anything for anyone. Ted will be missed by all – but he is now with his Lord & Savior. He is survived by his wife Nyla of Colby, KS; a son Kevin W. of Silt, CO; a daughter Kelly of Las Vegas, NV. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Brandon, Crystin, Ashton, Jordyn, 5 great-grandchildren Aria, Maverick, Ember, Bladin. His Sister Leora “Lefty” Compton, & many beloved nieces, nephew & in-laws.
