Terri Arnberger

Terri Ann Arnberger, 62, of Colby, died Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Hays Medical Center. She was born February 12, 1958, in Hays, KS, to Duane and Lois Jean (Ekberg) Dawes. Terri attended Brewster schools, graduating in 1976. On July 22, 1978, Terri married Rod Arnberger, in Colby. Terri had worked at Farmers and Merchants Bank for 5 years, then ran her own daycare before going to work for the US Postal Service. She worked at the Post Office for over 20 years. Terri was a member of the Levant Community Church and Eastern Star. She had served on the Brewster School Board, the Election Board and taught Sunday School for over 30 years. In her free time, Terri enjoyed fishing, mowing and watching sports, particularly college basketball, cheering on the KU Jayhawks.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Terri is survived by her husband Rod; children Lindsey (Jason) Hess and Brett (Ashley) Arnberger; grandson Ruxin Dawes Arnberger; brother Mike (Teresa) Dawes and nieces, Lacey and Katie Dawes.

Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the Colby United Methodist Church, with burial in Beulah Cemetery, Colby.
