Susie Skeers

Susie M. Skeers, 77, of Oakley, died January 12, 2015 at the Logan County Manor. She was born November 29, 1937 in Downs, KS to Walter and Emma (Fuller) King. She married Donald Skeers on June 28, 1954. Susie works as a nurse’s aide at Parkside Manor in Oakley. She was a member of the Oakley Wesleyan Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald and grandsons, Jamie Skeers and Jason Skeers.

She is survived by her children, Gary Skeers, Hays, KS, Eddie (Roxie) Skeers, Oakley, KS, Dennis (Bella) Skeers, Cleveland, TN, Robert Skeers, Hays, KS, Nancie (Jefferey McEwen, Indianapolis, IN; sister Marjorie (Harry) Eiseman; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-6:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley. Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2015 at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley.
