Sharon Ketchum

Sharon Kay Ketchum, 75, of Rexford, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024. She was born in Colby, KS on May 22, 1948, to Bill and Orma (Garrett) Clinkenbeard. Sharon grew up in Colby and graduated from Colby High School. Shortly after high school, on September 4, 1966, she married Lonnie Ketchum. The couple made their home in Rexford, KS, where they would reside for the remainder of their lives. Sharon enjoyed being a housewife and raising their two sons. She was an incredible cook and in her spare time could be found reading, doing cross stitch, and gardening. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and husband Lonnie.

She is survived by her children, Jay (Shannon) Ketchum and Eric (Mindy) Ketchum; grandchildren, Kendall Ketchum, Nicole (Garrett) Wilbourn, Jason Ketchum, Christopher Ketchum, and Lilly Ketchum; and siblings, Richard (Sylvia) Clinkenbeard and Sandy (Lloyd) Wilson.

Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2024, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby. The Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby, with burial in the Rexford Cemetery.
