Richard Beamer

Richard James Beamer, 68, of Bakersfield, CA, died April 6, 2018, at his home. He was born April 15, 1949, in Hays, KS, to R. Boyd and T. Joan (Beckman) Beamer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Boyd Beamer; brothers, Dennis and Stewart Beamer and long time girlfriend, Debi Faulconer.

He is survived by his mother, Joan, of Oakley, KS; brothers, Steve Beamer, of Grinnell, KS and David Beamer, of Oakley, KS; daughters, Chelsea (Matt) Creekmuir, of Newport, RI and Jenny (Tate) Briseno, of Lincoln, NE; granddaughter, Madelyn Creekmuir; nephews and nieces, Sarah (Ammin) Spencer, of Omaha, NE; Travis (Jessica) Beamer, Monroe, LA and Jola (Brian) Miller, Dodge City, KS.

A memorial service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018, at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley, with inurnment in the Oakley City Cemetery with military honors by the Oakley VFW Post 2981.
