Randall Joseph Ladenburger,68, of Oakley, died Friday, October 22, 2021. He was born January 7, 1953, in Oakley, KS, to George and Dorothy (Albers) Ladenburger. As a child he enjoyed family time with his siblings and friends. He liked to work with livestock, motorcycles and playing baseball. Much of his life was devoted to working in the oil business, when he wasn’t working, he spent time with his family and farming. When he did take a break, he enjoyed playing golf, trap shooting, gambling and watching his Kansas City Chiefs play football. He also enjoyed traveling to Germany to visit family, Myrtle Beach with his grandkids, Mexico with his kids and spending time in the mountains. On May 19, 1973 Randy married Jolene Dickman and to this union four children were born.
Later in life, Randy met Tomaye (Prather) Hipp. Over the years they have enjoyed trips to the mountains, visiting with friends and gambling.
Randall was preceded in death by his parents George and Dorothy (Albers) Ladenburger, his son Chad Ladenburger, son in law Christopher Leonard and, nephew Scot Ladenburger. He is survived by his children Travis (Deann), of Oakley, Jami, of Remington, VA and Kristen (Randy), of Milliken, CO; his grandchildren, Brooke Leonard, Korey Ladenburger and Chase and Cameron Lake. Randy is also survived by his brothers, Danny (Susan), of Stratton Nebraska, Kenton (Diane), of Pratt, KS and Brad (Sharon), of Atlanta, GA and sisters Kellie (Bob) Day, from Lenora, KS and Melissa (Scott) Stephens, of Shawnee, KS.
Visitation is from 5-7pm, Thursday, October 28th, 2021 at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley. The funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 29th,2021 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oakley.
