Randall Huffman

Randall R. Huffman, 57 of Oakley, KS died July, 22, 2017 in Salina, KS. Randy was born September 24, 1959, in Oakley, KS, to Virgil Sr. and Ermalina Huffman.

He graduated from Oakley High School in 1979. Randy married Paulina (Wright) on August 9, 1986; in Oakley. Randy and Paulina had two children, stepson Donnie and their angel Tina Marie.
Randy worked for many Oakley businesses including Oakley Elevator and the City of Oakley before retiring due to health issues. A proud Plainsmen supporter, Randy could be seen at numerous sporting events over the years. Randy was a member of the Oakley VFW Auxiliary, helping with many community events from Monday Night Bingo and Veterans Day Taco Feed, to selling raffle tickets for various drawings.

Preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Huffman Sr. (1985) and Ermalina (Rudell) Vernon (2001); daughter, Tina Marie; grandparents, Alva and Rose (Meis) Huffman and Matias and Mary (Pfeifer) Rudell; infant brother, Larry Dean; sister, Betty Jo (Marcotte) Gaydusek; Father in Law, Keith Wright; many aunts and uncles.

Survived by his wife, Paulina, of the home; stepson, Donnie Wright, of Russell Springs; Mother in Law, Mary Wright, of Russell Springs; brothers, Virgil Huffman Jr. and Bill (Carol) Huffman, both of Oakley; sister, Jolene (Bill) Foley, of Salina, KS; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; aunt, Bobby Samsel, of Oakley; uncles, Tom (MaryAnn) Huffman, of Salina KS and Frances (Pam) Rudell, of Oakley; many cousins, family and friends.

Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley.
