Nova Versch

Nova Devo Versch, 86, passed away January 12, 2015 at the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Center, Wichita, KS. She was born March 26, 1928 to J Arthur and Edith (McDougal) Butler in Bird City, KS. She married Gerald (Bud) Versch on December 1, 1946.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Jeanine Butler and Betty Lee Fuss and a brother, Michael Young.

Nova is survived by sons, Greg (Charlene) Versch, Wichita, and Tim Versch, Lincoln, NE; daughters, Denise Kimberly, Holdredge, NE, and Patrice Beaulieu, Wichita; sisters, J Edith Spadi, Albuquerque, NM, and Karen (Fred) Kembro Apalachicola, FL; sister-in-law, Jenny (Tim) Stembro, St, Francis, KS; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 6-7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Parish Hall, Bird City with a Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bird City.
