NORMA E. JENIK COLBY – NORMA E. (HINES) JENIK, 74, of Colby KS, passed away at Citizens Medical Center – Colby, KS Sunday, February 1, 2015. She was born on April 11, 1940 in Waldrom, AR to Othel & Inez (Gibbs) Hines. Norma married Dwayne Jenik on Aug. 8, 1958 just prior to his first Air Force assignment. She & their children accompanied him to each Air force base for 20 years until his retirement in 1978. They then lived in Ft. Collins CO for 18 years, Waldron, AR for 4 years and returned to Colby in 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Kenneth Hines. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Dwayne Jenik, two daughters Sheila Crouch of Ft. Smith, CO, Sheryl Carter of Ft. Collins, CO. One son James Jenik of Marino Valley, CA. One Sister Linda Barnett of Waldron, AR Eleven grandchildren & two great grandchildrn. Services will held at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Oakley with Rev. Robert Alexander Officiating. Burial will follow at The Oakley Cemetery in Oakley, KS. Memorials in her name in care of Kersenbrock Funeral Chapel 745 S. Country Club Dr. Colby, KS 67701
