Naida Odessia Ginther was born on December 11, 1926 in Ludell, KS to Ralph and Julia (Raber) Arendt and passed away March 16, 2017 in Englewood, CO.
She attended grade school in Ludell and graduated from Atwood Community High School with the class of 1944. On June 6, 1946 she was united in marriage to Harlan Ginther at the First Christian Church in Atwood. To this union were born Jane, Barbara and Mark. Naida and Harlan were business owners in Atwood for many years. Naida was always ready for anyone, anytime to visit or sit down and enjoy a meal. She loved watching her children and especially her grandchildren in their sporting events. She and Harlan were involved in many of the activities that went on in Atwood. She never knew a stranger and was always there for everyone, especially family members. Naida and Harlan were married for over 60 years and were always together. She will be missed by her family and everyone that she knew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harlan, and her son Mark.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters, Jane Foster and Barbara Arnold; sister Cheryl Pearce and step sister Joan Pickett. Also missing her are her grandchildren Marc Pearce and wife Laura, Eric Pearce and wife Carley, David Foster and wife Lisa, Jodi Papke and husband Bryan, Crystal Holley and husband Jacob, Blake Ginther and wife Vanessa, Drew Ginther and partner Aaron and Bart Ginther and girlfriend Trinity. She also leaves behind 9 great grandchildren; Reese, Grant, Will, Jake, Izzy, Sam, Michael, Tatum and Anniston and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation is 4-7:00 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017 at Baalmann Mortuary, Atwood. Funeral Service is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the First Christian Church of Atwood with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
