Mitchell Ryan Nollette, 50, of Monument, KS, died Tuesday, October 4, 2022. He was born October 4, 1972, in Oakley, KS, to Michael and Lorraine (Close) Nollette. Mitch accepted Jesus as his savior at the age of 12 and was baptized. He graduated from Oakley High School in 1991 and went on to Garden City Community College where he received his Criminal Justice Associates Degree. Mitch then earned his bachelor’s degree at Friends University in Wichita. In 1996, he joined the Kansas Highway Patrol and served with them for over 20 years. Mitch was also a big part of the family farm operation. He was a good son and father. He had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them so much.
Mitch is survived by his son Preston Nollette; parents, Michael and Lorraine Nollette; brother Brandon (Amy) Nollette; nephew Brody Nollette and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
Visitation is 5-7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley. Funeral Service is 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2022, at the United Christian Church, Oakley with Pastor Bob Kelly officiating. Burial will take place in the Monument Township Cemetery.
