Michael Ryan

Michael "Mike" Ryan, 68, of Fort Lupton, Colorado passed away on December 5, 2022. Mike was born in Sydney, Nebraska. He was the second oldest of four children. Mike spent the majority of his life as a truck driver in Colorado. In his down time, he had a love for NASCAR, football and old western movies. Mike was persistent with driving trucks, first to show up and the last to leave.

Mike was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Ryan and his brother Jeffrey L. Ryan. He was survived by his mother Rose A. Ryan, who has since passed away.

Mike is survived by his son Jeffery K. (Sunnie) Ryan; two granddaughters, Kylie and Khloe Ryan; sisters, Pam (Bob) Shultz and Tina (Mike Smith) Salazar; nephews, Matt Shultz, Robbie Shultz and Jesse Salazar and niece Angela Sams. Additionally, Mike is survived by several great nephews and a great niece.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby, KS, with inurnment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Rawlins County, KS.
