Maxine Rahe

Maxine C. Rahe, 88, of Atwood, died January 4, 2017 at Rawlins County Health Center, Atwood. She was born September 23, 1928, to Leroy and Leona (Schroeder) McMillin. March 11, 1973, Maxine married Orville Rahe. Maxine loved to garden, bake, sew, fish and knit blankets. In her later years, she enjoyed coloring.

Maxine is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister-in-law; Mary Ann McMillin; and grandchildren Doug and Brandon Rahe.

She is survived by her brother; Darrell McMillin, Atwood, niece; Denise (Todd) Voss, Colby, nephew; Michael (Shelley) McMillin, Oklahoma City, OK, four step-children; Fred (Sabrina) Rahe , Parker, CO; Alinda Brown , Carolyn Rahe, CO and Bruce (Debbie) Rahe, Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, eight great nieces and nephews, and two great-great nieces.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 9, at 10:30 a.m. at Baalmann Mortuary, Atwood. Visitation will take place the hour prior to the service. Burial will follow concluding the funeral service at Fairview Cemetery, Atwood.
