Mary Wellbrock

Mary Kay Wellbrock, 67, of Grinnell, died Sunday, August 17, 2014 in Quinter, KS. She was born October 2, 1946 in Hays, KS to Joseph and Margaret (Wasinger) Kroeger. She married Norman Wellbrock on August 7, 1965 in Ellis, KS. Mary Kay enjoyed working with children. She had been employed by Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center and USD 291, in Grinnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Norman; children, Kristine (Duane) Vollbracht, Matthew Wellbrock, Tammy (James) Wellbrock-Talley, Scott (Vanessa) Wellbrock; siblings, V.J. (Paula) Kroeger, James Kroeger, Gary (Linda) Kroeger, David (Leann) Kroeger; Ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center, Grinnell, with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. Memorial Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Grinnell.
