Mary M. Cripe, 91, died on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Citizen’s Health. A resident of Colby since 1974, she was born on October 23, 1931, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Thompson H. Everingham and Mary Elder Everingham.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jack Cripe; brother Thompson Everingham and her sister Dorothy Call.
She is survived by her son John Pavlovic of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and by two grandsons.
Mary’s Antiques and Gifts was a thriving business in Colby for 20 years. Mary closed the store when Jack died in 1995 but continued the business through consignment shops.
She traveled often, had many friends and was loved for her sense of humor, kind nature, and welcoming attitude toward all.
