Marlin R. Wahrman, of Atwood, passed away June 29, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City at the age of 63. He was born June 4, 1954, in Oberlin, KS to Carl and Lillian (Brown) Wahrman. Marlin worked for Rawlins County for over thirty years as the bridge and road supervisor. He enjoyed farming and raising cattle. In his spare time, he loved pheasant and deer hunting, and when he could find the time he liked to fish.
Marlin is survived by his children; Clint Wahrman, Atwood and Emily (Jake) Kastens, Atwood; twin sister, Marlene (Dean) Bebb, Atwood; sisters, Lynette Wolf, Grinnell and Bernus (Stan) Munsch, Hays; brothers, Wayne Wahrman, Osborne and Gary Wahrman, Herndon; a nephew and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Leon Wolf.
Cremation was chosen. A Vigil Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 6th, 2017 at Baalmann Mortuary, Atwood. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2017, at Sacred Heart Church, Atwood, with inurnment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Atwood.
