Send Flowers Marguerette Helen Musick Edmundson, affectionately known as Mrs. E or Grandma E, was born June 26, 1930 in Hominy, Okla. to Olvy and Hazel Musick. She graduated from Burrton High School in 1948, and was the oldest of 4 children. She married James Creighton Edmundson on June 20, 1949. They have 6 living children – Steven (Kathy) of Cleveland, MO; Stanley (Cheryll) of Colby, KS; Stuart (Nancy) of Burlington, CO; Starla (Fred) Williams of Alvaton, KY; Stacey (Sherri) of Humboldt, NE; and Staley (Tera) of Colby, KS; sister-in-law Carol Musick of Andover, KS; and brother-in-law Johnny Edmundson of Wichita, KS. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, James; infant daughter, Stephanie; and great granddaughter, Melanie; brother Tom, and sisters Frankie and Sara. James & Marguerette ran theatres and drive-ins in Burlington, Atwood, St. Francis, and Scott City for about 20 years. She also was a sample display food coordinator at Dillons for a few years. She was religious about attending church, playing bridge and her weekly Friday 9:00 am hair appointments. Grandma E enjoyed her grandchildren the most. She spent many hours keeping up with their activities and going to all sporting events. She was a member of Rebekah’s, Eastern Star, Christian Women’s Fellowship, First Christian Church, Royal Neighbors and was a past member of Lions Club, RSVP, BPW, the Red Barn Gang and was Guardian of Paraphernalia for Bethel #52 Job’s Daughters. Her hobbies included stamp collecting, going to garage sales, collecting coupons, baking, playing bridge, seasonal yard decorating, being a judge for 4H cooking and craft events and making fun jewelry. She never knew a stranger and could always be seen at sporting events with her radio and headphones on, and could not resist a yellow-tag sale! She leaves behind 6 children and their spouses, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Mrs. E was a mother to some, but a Grandma to everyone.
