Margaret Perkins Obituary Margaret Ann (Utt) Perkins, 90, died Friday, October 27 th , 2017 at Citizen’s Medical Center in Colby, Kansas. Margaret was born January 21 st , 1927 in Downs, Kansas to Charles Milton and Louise Fredricka (Schneider) Utt. She graduated from Downs High School in 1945, and was then married to Delbert “Max” Perkins in Denver, Colorado on May 26 th , 1945. Max and Margaret were members of the United Church of Osborne, Kansas. Margaret lived in Downs, Kansas and Colby, Kansas for most of her life. She worked for the State of Kansas Social and Rehabilitation Services Office as an Administrative Supervisor for 31 years before retiring in 1998. Margaret will especially be remembered for her strength, love, and giving heart. Her happiest moments were being surrounded by loving grandchildren. Her survivors include her sister Barbara “Bobbie” Wissing of Salina Kansas. Daughter Ann Kohman of Salina, Kansas along with grandsons, Lance Kohman (Megan) great grandchild Greta of Joplin, Missouri and Todd Kohman (Leslie) great grandchildren Kyle and Cora of Olathe, Kansas. Son Randy Perkins (Glenda) of New Strawn, Kansas along with Randy’s children Terri Harrison (Rusty) great grandchildren Kale, Reid, and Breana of Martin, Georgia and Brett Perkins (Brooke) great grandchildren Nicole Perkins great great grandchildren Bryson and Maylee, and great grandchild Alex of Royston, Georgia. Son Chuck Perkins (Winona) of Colby, Kansas along with Chuck’s children Rachel Perkins (Jeff) great grandchildren Quincy, Tommy, April, and Nathan of Hutchinson, Kansas and Adam Perkins (Crystal) and great grandchild Ava of Colby, Kansas. Daughter Kim Williams of Dixon, Missouri along with grandchildren Damon Williams of Belton, Texas and great grandchild Alana of Colby, Kansas and Katie Rice (John) and great grandchildren Bailee, Tanner, and Carter of Dixon, Missouri. Daughter Kelly Rall (Tracy) of Hot Springs, Arkansas and grandchildren Derek Rall (Mark) of Washington D.C., Nikki McKee (Matt) great grandchildren Reagan, Jordyn, Lexi, and Logan of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Blake Rall (Sammi) of Brookline, Missouri. Margaret “Biddy” Perkins was preceded in death by her parents, husband Max, sister Charlene “Chuck” Frobenius, and great granddaughter Sydni Perkins. Interment was on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Beulah Cemetery in Colby, Kansas. Per Margaret’s wishes, no services were planned and all memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army.
