Manford Meade

Manford L. Meade, 82, of Topeka, died Thursday, February 15, 2018. He was born May 6, 1935, in Stratton, CO, to Russell F. and Eldora E. (Strombaugh) Meade. Manford served in the United States Army. On June 14, 1980, he married Beverly (Holmes) Wright. He was a member of the VFW and Knights of Columbus. Manford had worked as a manager at Gibson’s and Larry’s IGA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Chris Meade and Manford ‘s siblings, Benjamin Lee, Russell Fye, Jr., Roberta Irene, Leona Elizabeth, Gilbert Earl, Veda Loraine, Juanita RosaLee, James Leroy, Margaret Jaretto and Donald Fye.

He is survived by Beverly, of Topeka; his children, Ed (Itzel) Meade, of Crestview, FL, and their daughter, Debra Owen, of Hoisington, KS, and her children, Michelle (Mark) Goff, of LaCrosse, KS, and their children, Mary Martin, of Kansas City, and her daughter; the children of his son Chris; step children, David Wright of Sidney, NE and his children, and Deb (Ken) Schwarz, of Topeka, KS, and their children.
