Lila Walz

Lila L. Walz, 59, of Grinnell, died January 16, 2011. She was born on July 3, 1951 to Clarence “Bud” and Clara (Counter) Manning. Lila Married Roger Walz on Dec 20 1969. She was a member of the Oakley Christian Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Roger Walz and a brother Marshall Manning.

She is survived by two daughters Vanessa Wellbrock (Scott), Oakley and Terri Rupp (Mike), Ness City; a sister Marcia Carter (Mike) Salina, a brother Ray Manning (Linda) Oakley, a sister Cindy Koch (John) Oklahoma City, OK, a brother Derek McKellips (Michele) Salina; a Step-Father Roy Riddle (Salina); four grandchildren, Tayler Wellbrock, Austin Wellbrock, Cole Rupp and Wyatt Rupp.

Cremation was chosen. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley. A Memorial service will be Friday, January 21, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at the Christian Church, Oakley.
