Leroy Moore

LEROY MOORE Raymond Leroy Moore passed away August 15, 2014 at Swedish Hospital in Denver Colorado after complications from a stroke, having just celebrated his 77th birthday. Leroy graduated from Colby High School. Leroy was married to Eunice Darlene Depe on August 30, 1959 a union which lasted over 50 years until Eunice passed away in 2010. Leroy earned bachelor’s degree in science from FHSU and taught in the monument and Oakley school until moving to Rawlins County Farm. During his life Leroy worked asa teacher, Farmer, truck driver, custom harvester and other jobs as needed to provide for his family. Leroy is survived by three sons: Scott and wife Sondra, Shaun and his wife Amy, and Shane and wife Angie. Leroy was a proud grandfather to Elizabeth (Adam Garrett), Emily (Chris Kearns), Landon, Jensen and Dane and recently was blessed with three great grandchildren: Levi, Skyler and Immogene.
