Leroy Delziet

Leroy (Bill) William Delzeit, 73, of Oakley, died Friday, November 12, 2010, He was born on Sept 26, 1937 to William and Sylvia Delzeit. Bill worked as a farmer and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, CO-OP Board and Elkader Township.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Katherine; three children of Bill and Theresa Luce, Katherine (Kate) M. Delzeit, Oakley, Mary Beth Krotky and husband Gerry, Orlando, FL, James Delzeit and wife Stella, Cheyenne, WY; three children of Katherine (Halbleib) Delzeit, Patcy Kammer and husband Chuck, Silver City, NM, Richard Halbleib and wife Victoria, Oakley, Joyce Kuhn and husband Alan, Oakley; two brothers Don Delzeit and wife Jean, Dodge City, Clem Delzeit and wife Ann, Scranton; one sister Betty Rose Delzeit, Victoria; nine grand children Cassandra Harrison and husband Jason, Hays, Alexis Roth, Hays, Jameson Delzeit and wife Stacy, Cheyenne, WY, Brandon Delzeit, Cheyenne, WY, Jacob Halbeib and wife Ciara, Denver, CO, Jessica Orlovski and husband Craig, Goodland, Sarah Kammer, Silver City, NM, Kristin Kuhn, Oakley, Ryan Kuhn, Oakley and two great-grand children.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 16, 2010 at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley. Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Nov 17, 2010, 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oakley. Burial will follow in St. Joseph cemetery, Oakley.
