Leonard Oliver

Leonard James (Stubby) Oliver, 99, of Colby, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Prairie Senior Living Complex, Colby. He was born August 2, 1914 in Hamilton, KS to Pheanes and Mae (Holland) Oliver. He married Jeanne Beasley June 4, 1938. He was the former Vice President of National Equipment Corporation, where he worked for over 30 years. He had a great love for music and was known to entertain the residents at Prairie Senior Living Complex with his piano playing. He was a Mason, Shriner and a gentleman who Daughter-in-law Molly considered her “loving hero.”
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents and daughter Sandra Aspegren.
He is survived by his son James (Molly) Oliver, Colby; sister Lila Pusey, Orlando, FL; seven Grand Children and fourteen Great Grand Children.
Cremation was chosen and family will hold a private Memorial Service at a later date.
