Laura Cersovsky

Laura Ann Cersovsky, 93, of Colby, died Thursday, July 24, 2024. She was born in Lincoln County, KS, on September 18, 1930, to James and Vera (Rude) Helus. Laura collected many things and was the family historian. She enjoyed going to garage sales, polka music and vegetable gardening. Laura loved animals and took in many strays and rescue animals over the years. Of all her pets, her cat Blackie held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul Cersovsky and brother William “Bill” Helus.

Laura is survived by her brother Orville Helus; sister-in-law Jan Helus; good friend Pat Parker; many nieces and nephews and her late husband Paul’s children.

A graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2024, at Beulah Cemetery, Colby. For information or condolences visit baalmannmortuary.com
