Lane Rush

Lane Rush died 10/28/2018 in Colby, Kansas. He was born October 31, 1964 in Colby, Kansas to Rolland and Merna (Alleman) Rush. He graduated from Brewster High School in 1983 and attended vocational school in Goodland. Over the years he worked for Hi-Plains Co-op Association, McKee Sheet Metal, Service Oil Company, and often worked for his parents and his brother on their farms. He married Laura Niblock April 14, 1996. He was preceded by his parents; brother Neal Rush; grandparents, Francis and Lela Rush and Morris “Slim” and Geneve Alleman. Surviving are his daughter Kynndra Rush and son Wade Rush of Colby; brother Lynn Rush and wife Cindy of Yukon, OK, sister-in-law Jolene Rush of Brewster and many nieces, nephews and cousins. At Lane's request, no visitation or funeral service will be held. A private family graveside inurnment service will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Northwest Kansas Foundation for Hope and Colby United Methodist Church. The Family will greet friends at the Colby United Methodist Church (on the corner of Franklin & Pine) on Thursday, November 1st from 3pm - 6pm.
