Kim William Ahrens, 59, of Oakley, died Saturday, February 19, 2011. He was born December 13, 1951 to James and Alberta Ahrens in Greensburg, KS. He was a local farmer.
He is survived by his parents Jim and Alberta (Oakley); two sons Jason James and wife Kelly (Minnesota) and Joshua Joe (Oakley); former wife Cheryl Ahrens (Oakley); two grandsons Nick and Max; a brother Tom and wife Rosa (Oakley) and a sister Kerry Cejka (Kansas City).
Cremation was Chosen. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 12, 2011, 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Oakley. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2011 in the coffee bar of the United Methodist Church (Oakley) In lieu of flowers a Kim Ahrens Memorial has been established for his family’s designation or to Bi Polar research in care of Baalmann Mortuary, P.O. Box 204, Oakley, KS 67748.
