Kent A. Wood was born July 14, 1946, to Raymond and Verna (Fuller) Wood. He grew up in North Denver, Colorado and later moved to Wheat Ridge, Colorado, graduating from Wheat Ridge High School. He also took classes at Colorado University. He enjoyed going to class reunions.
In 1964, Kent married Sharon Wolgast and to this union a son Rick and daughter Stacy were born.
Kent played a lot of baseball and was a good catcher who could throw them out at second in a flash. Kent also coached Little League. He enjoyed Elk hunting with his best friends Galen and Mitch and was an avid Broncos fan.
In 1984 he married Christina Rohm. A few years later they moved to Herndon, KS, taking over the business of running the Pool Hall. There Kent met many friends and could always talk sports and hunting.
Kent was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law Alan Reed.
Those left to celebrate his life are his wife Chris; son Rick; daughter Stacy; step-son Marty; grandson Jeff; granddaughter Erin; sister Val; brother Bret and numerous friends.
Kent decided to soar with the Eagles on April 24, 2024. May he rest in peace.
