Kennith W. Scott, 86, of Atwood, KS, died June 19, 2016, at his home. He was born April 6, 1930 to Ronald O. and Doris S. (Gover) Scott.
Kennith served 8 years in the United States Navy, four of those years were in active duty and the other four were served in the reserves. Kennith worked for 34 years at Kas-Nebr Natural Gas as a serviceman. He was a livestock farmer and an avid golfer.
Kennith was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Rose (Postlewait) Scott, of the home; daughter, Tammy (Roger) Scott-Howland, Jewell, KS; sons, Lee (Susan) Adams, of Calhan, CO, Jim (Lisa) Adams, Lakin, CO, David (Isabel) Scott, Keswick, VA, and Robert (Janice) Scott, Towanda, KS; brothers, Gene Scott, Sterling, NE and Richard “Dick” Scott, Towner, CO; 18 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Cremation has been chosen. A memorial service will be 10 am, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Baalmann Mortuary, Atwood, KS. Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Atwood Country Club, or Atwood Baptist Church and may be sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
