Kenneth E. Howard, 78¸of McDonald, died Monday, September 8, 2014 at Rawlins County Health Center. He was born June 7, 1936 to Charlie and Elsie (Moreland) Howard on the farm in rural Rawlins County. He was a man of many jobs including farmer, owner of Howard Construction, Salesman for National Motor Club, Coscot and Pennsylvania Live. He enjoyed the outdoors; he would go hunting and fishing. He loved being around family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Parents; daughter, Tamra Jenik; brother, Royce Howard; sister, Lois Simon; father-in-law, Phillip Ball and brother-in-law, Larry Ball.
He is survived by his wife, of 43 years, Phyllis Howard, of the home; daughter Tia (Michael) Brannick and their children Milan and Cienna, of Goodland; son Todd (special friend Jen Miller) Howard, of Atwood; brother, Lynn (Linda) Howard, of Alamosa, CO; mother-in-law, Lois Ball; grandchildren, Rebecca (Mark) Lagler and children Caleb and Miles, Cody (Alicia) Beeson and child, Lily, Justin (Naomi) Jenik and child Jordan, Megan (friend, Dick and family) Jenik, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at McDonald Federated Church. The family request you wear casual clothing.
