Judith Ann Deiser, 77, of Colby, died August 15, 2018, at Citizens Medical Center, Colby, KS. She was born June 16, 1941, in Dighton, KS, to Albert and Laura (Mangus) Sculley. Judith graduated from Dighton High School, where she was a drum majorette. In 1974 Judith moved to Colby. She worked for Ace Services and in 1986 started working at the USDA Farm Service Agency and worked there until retiring in 2004. In her retirement Judith enjoyed being a member of R.S.V.P. and served as a “pink lady” at Citizens Medical Center. She considered herself a sports freak and enjoyed playing softball, basketball and bowling as well as watching many sports, especially KU Basketball.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond and Albert and sister-in-law Pauline Sculley.
She is survived by her children, David (Linda) Deiser, Burlington, CO and Rebecca “Becky” Butts, Oakley, KS; brother Richard “Dick” Sculley, Dighton, KS; sisters-in-law, Nora Sculley, Fresno, CA and Janice Sculley, Osceola, NE; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation is 3-5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby. Funeral Service is 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2018, also at the Mortuary, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at the Dighton Cemetery, Dighton, KS.
