John Zeller

John Wesley Zeller, 77, of Colby, son of Alven H. and Carrie Marie Zeller died March 16, 2016 at Citizens Medical Center, Colby, Kansas. He was born August 30, 1938 in Scott City, Kansas. His family moved to Colby where he attended Colby schools. John worked for W.E. Cooper Feedlot, Deep Rock Station, Frontier Station and Jack Fitzsimmons Motors. John loved car racing, auto mechanics and driving his green and white Chevy pickup.

Preceding John in death were his parents; nephews, Teryn Haremza and Matthew Healy and brother-in-law, Larenz Rall.

Survivors include sisters, Jeannine Rall, Noveline Haremza and Sherry (Chris) Mead, all of Colby, Violet (David) Healy, Rockford, Illinois; brother Larry (Nadene) Zeller, Wamego, Kansas; aunt Clara Sloniker, Fort Collins, CO and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cremation has been chosen. Graveside services will be Monday, March 28, at 10:30 am at Beulah Cemetery, Colby. Memorials are suggested to Colby Health and Rehab or Prairie Museum of Art and History, in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
