John Groblebe

John Troy Groblebe, Jr., 65, of Oakley, died Nov. 16, 2015 at Logan County Hospital, Oakley. He was born May 16, 1950 in Denver, CO, to John T. Sr. and Jeanette (Munoz) Groblebe. He married Betty A. (Trusty) Groblebe in 1968. He was a truck driver and in his spare time he enjoyed drag racing,” tinkering” with engines or other mechanical devices, motorcycles and anything that went fast.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Joey Groblebe.John is survived by his wife; Betty, daughters; Starr (Alan) Zweifel and Dawn Wolfe, sister; Julie Radcliff, brothers; Jay Groblebe, Jimmy Groblebe, and LeRoy Ashland, and four grandchildren; Amanda, Olivia, Kimberly and Jared Zweifel.

A memorial service will be Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11 am at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Oakley, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Oakley, and be sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 204, Oakley, KS 67748.
