Jake Anthony Geisinger, 21, of Selden, KS, died Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Swedish Medical Center, in Englewood, CO. Jake was born December 5, 2000, in Quinter, KS, to Jason and Dana (Juenemann) Geisinger. He graduated from Hoxie High School in 2019 and from the Precision Agriculture program at Northwest Kansas Technical College, in Goodland, in 2021. Jake was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Frances Cabrini Church, in Hoxie. He enjoyed fishing, welding, woodworking, and especially, the farming lifestyle. Jake spent his days doing what he loved, working on the family farm.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen Juenemann and John and Julia Geisinger.
He is survived by his parents; siblings Karlee and Nash Geisinger; grandfather Donald Juenemann; aunts and uncles, John Geisinger, Joe (Patty) Geisinger, Jacqueline (Mike) Wiens, Dawn (Hardy) Howard, Daryl (Matt) Havlas, Darren (Stacie) Juenemann and Dustin (Tonya) Juenemann; along with cousins: Larissa Disque, Aleah, and Jenna Howard; Peyton Gillespie, Conner, Preston, and Cooper Havlas; Dalton, Trenton, and Jayda Juenemann; Nolan and Ella Juenemann; Johnna Dexter-Wiens, Kaylin, and Madison Wiens; Josh, Jessica, Libby, and Mary Geisinger, and many friends.
Visitation is 4-7:00 p.m., with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, Hoxie, KS. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Leoville, KS, with burial in the church cemetery.
