Jadin Ray Hall, 16, of Colby, died Sunday, October 20, 2024. He was born January 29, 2008, in Ottawa, KS to Grace Weatherford and JD Hall. Jadin was a fun, silly, quirky kid, who had a contagious smile and loved to give hugs. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors and developed a love of camping through Boy Scouts. Besides camping, you could also find him swimming, working on vehicles, riding dirt bikes, fishing, exploring and many other adventures. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and even made his own duck call out of clay. Jadin was artistic also and had taken up photography. He liked gardening and had taken classes in horticulture to learn more. Jadin was a Junior at Colby High School and was involved in FFA, Jag-K and trap club. In the future he had planned to join the military and study diesel mechanics.
Jadin was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Lloyd Weatherford, Shirley and Aaron Adams and Dan Denneler.
He is survived by his mother Grace Denneler; stepfather Casey Denneler; father JD Hall; siblings, Jacob Hall and Kynzlee Denneler; girlfriend Alexis Harman; grandparents Paul Weatherford, Karen Smith and David and Jaton Denneler; great-grandparents, JD and Donna Bennett, Mary Lou Weatherford and Margaret Denneler and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby. Funeral Mass is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby, with burial in the church cemetery.
