Jack Junior Brier, 84, of Colby, died Friday, May 2, 2014 at Hays Medical Center. He was born December 3, 1929 in Colby, KS to Jack and Irene (Camp) Brier. He served in the U.S. Navy from September, 1950 to July, 1954. He married Eileen Delzeit on October 28, 1966. Jack worked as a bricklayer, a custodian at Colby Public Schools and maintenance man at the Quality Inn. He was a member of the Colby V.F.W.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eileen; first wife Wilda (Greenwood) Brier; stepson Don Delzeit, granddaughter Nicole, siblings, Clarence Brier, Floyd Brier, Maxine Engelhardt and Esther Cox.
He is survived by his stepson, David Delzeit, Colby; Brother-in-law Thurman Cox, Colby; grandchildren, Donald Jr. (Stacey) Delzeit, Dublin, GA, Chanell (Scott) Werth, Fremont, NE, David Delzeit Jr., Colby, Chad (Amber) Delzeit, Loveland, CO; nieces and nephews, Kay (Don) Linville, Garden City, Butch (Dalene) Cox, Colby, Rick Brier, Jerilyn (Dennis) Lakely, Enid, OK, Tina (Randy) Parker, Alva, OK, Patty ( Bob) Mullins, Hoxie, Mike and Ron Brier, Colby.
