Gregorio R. Garcia

Gregorio Garcia, 73, of Brewster, died Thursday, November 14, 2024, in the comfort of his home. He was born October 17, 1951, in Karnes City, TX, to Jacinto and Francisca Garcia. On February 4, 1970, he married Rosa Garcia. Gregorio was a member of Colby Independent Baptist Church since 2010.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Anita Morin, Lucia Martinez, Maria Villegas, Angelita Alaniz, and Salome Alaniz and brothers, Juan Garcia, Martin Garcia, Pablo Garcia, Susano Garcia, and Amadeo Garcia.

He survived by his wife Rosa, of Brewster, children, Gregorio Garcia Jr., Johnny Garcia, Angelita Garcia of Brewster, and Francisca (Garcia) Anderson of Lawrenceville, GA; brother Jesus Garcia; seventeen grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4-6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby and Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2024, also at Baalmann Mortuary, with burial at Beulah Cemetery, Colby.
