Gerard Dickman

Gerard “Gerry” Dickman, 61, of Colby, died July 16, 2012, in Denver, Colorado. He was born October 18, 1950 to Edmund and Theresa (Morin) Dickman in Hays, Kansas. He married Rebecca Margheim on November 26, 1970, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church of Angelus, Kansas. He was a construction worker, certified mechanic and field agent for Knights of Columbus. He was a graduate from Grinnell High School, 1968.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Michelle Snethen.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca of the home; daughter, Lisa Ortiz (Reyes) of Los Banos, CA, sons, Jason Dickman (Heather, girlfriend) of Wichita, and Adam Dickman (April, girlfriend) of Ft. Campbell, KY; brother, Bernard Dickman (Karen) of Grinnell.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 20, 2012, at Baalmann Mortuary, 190 South Franklin, Colby, KS 67701; and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Angelus; 7:30 p.m. Rosary. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Angelus. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery, Angelus. Memorials are suggested to 6th Street AA and Sacred Heart Catholic School, Colby in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
