Geneva Brown

Geneva A. Brown, daughter of James R. and Mabel A. (Anderson) Ramey, was born January 10, 1923 in Rawlins County, KS. She passed away in Waco, TX on February 9, 2016, at the age of 93.

On September 4, 1940, she married William H. Brown in Atwood, KS. William preceded her in death on August 16, 2002. Geneva and William made their home in Woodland Park, CO for 33 years. She was a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church. She was employed by Mountain Bell until retirement.

Survivors include son Gilbert and wife Carol of Waco, TX, son Gary and wife Stephanie of Woodland Park, CO, daughter Glenda and husband Sam Trevennan of Pleasant Grove, UT, 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at Beulah Cemetery, Colby, KS on Saturday, February 13, at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011. Online condolences: www.baalmannmortuary.com.
