Gary Buck

Gary L. Buck, 59, of Victoria, formerly of Atwood, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Hays Medical Center. He was born June 8, 1956, in Atwood, KS, to James Wayne and Violet (Robbins) Buck. Growing up, Gary enjoyed farming, playing with his dog and tinkering with things around the farm. He loved being active, woodworking, fishing and playing basketball. He was a caring individual and was always happy. Gary earned his education at the Beamguard Learning Center. He had previously lived at the Prairie Development Center in Atwood and in Hays. He was a member of the Atwood United Methodist Church, where he enjoyed participating in Sunday school.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Karen Bryan.

He is survived by his brothers, Jim (Jan) Buck, Redlands, CA, Roger Buck, Mount Vernon, WA, Warren Buck, Lake Elsinore, CA and John (Cynthia) Buck, Atwood, KS; sisters, Barbara (Gary) Wilfong, Oxnard, CA and Shirley (Raymond) Straub, Sharon Springs, KS; brother-in-law, Ronald Bryan, Oberlin, KS and numerous nieces and nephews.
