Franklin Schoenberger, 71, of Oakley, died Monday, October 24, 2016. He was born Nov 10, 1944 to Leo Sr. and Rosa (Dechant) Schoenberger in Oakley. He was a farmer and later worked as a mechanic and tire repairman. Frank was known as the neighborhood watchman. He had a love for fishing and never missed his favorite TV show Gun Smoke.
Preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters.
Survived by two sons, Alan (Connie) Schoenberger and Chris Schoenberger; daughter, Samantha Schoenberger; two brothers, Leo and Marvin Schoenberger; three sisters, Louise Asbridge, Pauline Vice and Helen Trout; six grandchildren, Steven, Heather and Wayne Stoltenberg, William Ryan, Colton Reid and Danielle Elizabeth Schoenberger; five great grandchildren, Shane, Dallas and Edward Stoltenberg, Sheridan and Shiloh Schiltz.
