He grew up and attended school in Colby, KS. Frank worked most of his life driving a cement truck and witnessed the growth of Colby and the surrounding area one truckload at a time. On October 9, 1987 he married Bernice Griggs in Colby, KS, and to this union three children were born. He became disabled in 2001 and retired from truck driving. After his retirement, he was able to spend more time with his family and assist his mother in her golden years. In 2004 his son was born and he became known as “Mr. Mom”, taking over the daily diaper duty. After his mother’s passing in 2010, he moved to Enid, OK to be closer to his ever growing family in Dallas, TX. In the early morning hours of February 26, 2013 he suffered a brain injury that changed he and his family’s lives forever. So that he could be closer to his children and grandchildren, he moved to Lewisville, TX in 2016. He was a loving husband, father, and papa, and on May 10, 2018 he was called to heaven to be with God, now fully healed. He was preceded in death by his father Allen F. and his mother Lola M. Skiles.
