Francis Tauber

Francis J. Tauber, 80, of Monument, died Thursday, November 23, 2017, at his home. He was born October 14, 1937 to Francis and Pauline (Unger) Tauber. He married Betty Jean Kinne and to this union four children were born. He was a greeter at Walmart for over 5 years, in Colby. Before that he had farmed for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty and great-grandson, Connor Thacker.

Survivors include two sons, James (Darla) Tauber, of Garber, OK and Charles (Gerri) Tauber, of Hays; two daughters, Tonya Tauber, of Monument and Judy (Tony) Wolf, of Quinter; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby.
