Evelyn Regier

Evelyn M. Regier, 80, of Colby, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Prairie Senior Living Complex, Colby. She was born April 9, 1935 in Turon, KS to Casper and Thelma (Carpenter) Glaze. Evelyn was lovingly raised by Dave and Clara Dahl along with her sister, Merrell. On May 22, 1953 she married Henry Regier in Mingo, KS. Evelyn was a homemaker and later drove the school bus for the Oakley school district for fifteen years and enjoyed sewing, playing the piano and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Mingo Bible Church where she sang in the church choir and also sang in duets, trios and quartets. Evelyn loved the Lord and her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry and brothers, Leroy and Lynn Glaze.

She is survived by her children, Roxy (Leland) Wilson, Colby, Ronda (Mark) Myers, Colby and Randy (Melissa) Regier, Monument; sisters, Virginia (Darrel) Houston and Merrell Glaze; brothers, Jack Glaze and Asher Dahl; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Mingo Bible Church, Mingo, with burial to follow in Beulah Cemetery, Colby.
