Eugene Geisinger

Eugene W. Geisinger, 80, of Phillipsburg, KS, died Monday, May 3, 2021. He was born November 12, 1940, in Sheridan County, KS, to John and Anna (Goscha) Geisinger. Eugene graduated from Leoville High School and enlisted in the United States Army, in August of 1962. He was honorably discharged in 1963. Eugene farmed with his father and then worked in the oil field for many years. He then had his own construction business in Phillipsburg. Eugene enjoyed buying and selling antiques on the side. After retirement, Eugene lived part-time in Kearney, NE, to better manage his health.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; brothers John R and William Geisinger and sister Doris Short.

He’s survived by his brother James (Catherine) Geisinger, Mounds, OK and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Leoville, KS, with inurnment in Calvary Cemetery, Leoville.
