Emma Lock

Emma June Lock, of Oakley, was born silently at 12:34 p.m. on August 30, 2012 at Citizens Medical Center, Colby. She “danced” peacefully on to meet Jesus. Emma is the daughter of Derek and Melissa Lock of Oakley. “How silently she tiptoed into our world, but what an imprint her tiny footsteps have left on our hearts.”

Emma weighed 6 pounds and was 19 inches long. She is deeply loved by her mom and dad. Her maternal grandparents are John E. and Beth Swenson, Charleston, AR and Terry and Lori Clark, Lawrence. Paternal grandparents are Lee and Pauline Lock, Wallace. Maternal great grandparents are Jerry and Leona Clark, Colby and John C. and Karen Swenson, Grove, OK. Emma will always be her family’s precious little girl and they look forward to holding her again in heaven.

Aunts and uncles include, John C. Swenson, Covington, LA, Josh (Katie) Swenson, Lenexa, Leasa (Glen) Huddle, Oakley, Tricia (Chris) Unruh, Lakin and Rosanna (Pete) Ziegelmeier, Gem; Cousins, Jack Swenson, Leanna and Ryan Huddle, Chantzi Unruh and Nash Ziegelmeier.

Preceded in death by her great grandparents, Kenny and Marylou Henning, Clyde and Francis Lock and Emerson and Cleo Langdon; great uncle Randy Henning; Uncle Jason Rice.

Services for Emma will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 3, 2012 at Dinas Community Church, Wallace. Burial will follow at the Fort Wallace Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Emma June Lock Memorial fund in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 204, Oakley, KS 67748.
