Edward Robben

Edward G. Robben, 71, of Grinnell, died Sunday, Feb 19, 2012. He was born on Nov 18, 1940 to Edward H. and Bertha M. (Baalman) Robben in rural Thomas County. He was an auto and farm machinery mechanic.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include five brothers, Kenneth (Pam) Robben, Grinnell, Alexius (Ann) Robben, Pipe Creek, TX, Andrew (Kathy) Robben, Clinton, OK, Robert C. (Cindy) Robben, Goodland, and August (Diane) Robben, Lee Summit, MO; a sister Mary (Steve) Rollins, Gloster, Miss.; eight nieces and eight nephews.

Visitation will be 4:30 – 7:30 pm on Thursday, Feb 23, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Church Parish Center, Grinnell. A Vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Funeral will be 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb 24, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Grinnell. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
